My 15-Minute AI Learning Stack
Learning AI doesn’t need 5 hours a day. Here’s how I’m keeping pace - in 15-minute windows between work, kids, and dinner.
AI is moving faster than the morning school drop-off with no pauses, no breaks.
If I had 5 extra hours a day, I’d spend them soaking up every bit of learning I could. But like many of you, I don’t have 5 hours spare.
I have two boys, work, and dinner to make (food is the only constant in our household!) as well as carving out time to write on Substack!
So I learn in 15-minute windows.
The Scene
It’s after school pick-up chaos.
Shoes kicked across the floor.
Requests for snacks while dinner simmers in the oven.
I’m chopping vegetables with one AirPod in - AI Daily Brief podcast feeding my brain and half my attention on my boys telling me about their day.
These fragmented 15-minute moments don’t feel like much, but they add up.
They keep me sharp and curious without overwhelming my packed schedule.

The Truth
You don’t need big chunks of time to keep pace with AI.
It’s about fitting learning into the life you actually live.
Start by looking at the small tasks you already do every day:
Scheduling calls
Writing recaps
Following up with clients
Product research
Prepping conversations
That’s where AI can really help.
15 focused minutes a day is enough to build momentum.
What’s your 15-minute learning moment?
Hit reply or drop it in the comments and I’d love to hear how you’re making learning fit into your day.
Great post. I also slot in AI podcasts during short breaks, and it’s amazing how it compounds. Do you think micro-learning sticks on its own, or does it need occasional deep dives to really cement? How do you balance breadth with depth?
Thank you for this, especially the Podcast. I have been utilizing YouTube but definitely would love to have something for while I’m driving.
