How does the Substack setting "do not use my content to train AI" impact this? When I was researching, it seemed like there wasn't a clear answer. I know that even with that deselected Substack posts get indexed, but I would assume it would exclude AI search unless we allow AI training. That's just my gut feel, nothing concrete. What's yours?

I need to look into all of this - you raise such an interesting point! Technically, everything we are publicly posting could be used as someone could copy + paste also. So many considerations!

I don’t disagree at all but think this will take a few moments longer than “immediately” - now is the time to blow up your existing playbooks, invest in experiments and train and up skill your teams! Those who wait or hesitate may be lost forever.

Fu*k Google. They always manipulated behind shining simple UI. Hope entrepreneurs see this opportunity to even further break through this monopoly by making alt infrastructures

It's very interesting, I ironically used Google just now to find some statistics around CHAT GPT searches versus Google search. Google still dominating but speed of adoption and usage of Chat GPT is moving fast. I think it's worth watching this space!

I'm kind of glad it's over, ngl. I've ridden the search algo up and down over the years with a web business, and I don't have that stress anymore. I've turned towards a new AI business (prometheanai.substack.com), so I complete agree with your take on where the game is headed. 👊

What’s cool is a can throughly explain and talk to ChatGPT, and it understands even when my question or description isn’t clear I literally asked what’s the trend that screeches like a disc cut every three seconds and it told me knew and found it where google well I got everything but the thing I was searching for
